June 22-24, 2023

The Asian Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences (ANPOSS) is pleased to announce its third bi-annual conference that will be held between June 22-24, 2023. This third bi-annual conference will be held in collaboration with the Thai Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences (TNPOSS). The main host of the conference is Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. The conference will be on-site at Thammasat University. Video-recorded presentation is possible only for participants who cannot join the conference due to covid-related travel restrictions.

We welcome submissions in any area and on any problem related to the philosophy of the social sciences and encourage not only philosophers, but also social scientists whether professors or students interested in the philosophy of the social sciences to submit or participate in the conference. Through special arrangement between ANPOSS and the editors of the journal, selected papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of the journal Philosophy of the Social Sciences.

ANPOSS is a young association whose goal is to promote exchange between all those interested in the philosophy of the social sciences mainly in Asian regions but also elsewhere in the world. We therefore encourage persons from both Asian and non-Asian regions to submit papers to/and join the conference.
